All The Cubs Hype Videos You Need For Tonight's Home Opener And Banner Ceremony

Listen I don’t know the first thing about hanging World Series Championship banners. And if you’re a Cubs’ fan, then you don’t either. These are facts. Fortunately, that’s about to change in a few hours. For now, we’re left to speculate (kinda) on what the banner will look like:

That’s as close as we can get for now. Until then, probably wouldn’t hurt to familiarize yourself with how the 2016 Cubs won it (sup Pearl Jam):

Part of me is obviously excited for the pending celebration tonight and Wednesday when the players get their rings. Wrigley will be absolutely BANANAS and for obviously amazing reasons. 108 years of misery gone and forgotten.

The other part of me knows that this officially puts the 2016 season to rest in everyone’s mind. Like there’s still more partying to do re: being World Series Champs. The fact that the MLB squeezes an off day in-between the home opener and game #2 tells you all you need to know about exactly how much partying is left to do. But after Wednesday, that’s all done. Not just for the players and organization, but for the fans and everyone who has anything to do with covering this team.

But we’re not there yet so let’s do what we do best and just watch the shit out of some more 2016 hype videos. Like we even have a choice?
