A UFC 210 Fight Has Been Canceled Due To Fake Titties

Uproxx - Yes, the New York State Athletic Commission has a rule that female fighters are not allowed to fight with implants and as such, one day before the event, they’ve cancelled the main card fight between Cynthia Calvillo and Chicago fighter Pearl Gonzalez. The whole episode is strange, as the rule wasn’t implemented yesterday, and surely Gonzalez didn’t get implants yesterday so the fact that the UFC was either unaware or didn’t bother to look into the rule is curious.

According to omniscient UFC reporter Ariel Helwani, Calvillo was upset to say the least but hopeful the ruling will be overturned and the fight will go on, but the NYSAC would not comment on the matter.

We’re talkin about some fake titties? Not missing weight, not steroids, but some fake titties? Who has time to worry about fake titties? And how did the UFC not know there was a fake titty situation brewing before the day before the fight? Something fishy is going on here and I know exactly what it is….

Woke Take: The UFC knew this was a problem and they waiting til the last second to make it a problem to get eyeballs on UFC 210. UFC 205 at MSG was massive with Conor McGregor headlining it. UFC 210…I don’t think has half as much buzz. You could smell the UFC in the air in NYC during 205. The homeless people were talking about it, the Godzilla-sized rats were in your ear about it, signs and billboards as far as the eye can see. 210 though, not so much. So Dana White being the master promoter he is decided to make the fake boobs thing a story today, right before the fight tomorrow. Now all anyone can talk about are titties and UFC, and that’s one hell of a combo.

So while it sucks she might not be able to fight tomorrow, Dana White wins again. He got his headlines, he has people talking, and at the end of the day that’s all he ever wanted.

PS: The whole Daniel Cormier holding onto a towel to make weight thing is hilarious. As if the UFC was going to allow him to miss weight because of a pound.
