I love this clip for so many different reasons. Obviously, someone accidentally getting spinning heel kicked in the face by a UFC fighter is funny. It will never not be funny until someone dies. But the immediate regret and apology is something we can all relate so well to. It’s like when you’re wrestling with your cousins at a family party, and one of them starts crying. Or when you’re out at the bar, you’re having a great time, and you throw a pitcher at your friend’s face.
I also love this clip, because that coach, Coach Andreas, that’s a fucking MMA guy. Kick to the face from his number one fighter, and he shook it off like it was nothing. That’s how to keep your fighters humble. Oh, you think you’re great because you’re the only person to ever (almost) beat Jon Jones? Well your kicks ain’t shit, bitch. I would have literally died if that foot made contact with my face. Real death.
