(I like the first video better, but the 2nd video reminds me of the depressing ass State Farm commercial that for some reason always leaves me wanting more. Life as a Mets fan personified right there)
Well another roller coaster ride begins today in Flushing. I’m on the record as saying the Mets will win the NL East. But we’ve already lost Steven Matz for about the first month of the season and Seth Lugo is on the shelf to start the year. But that’s just life as a Mets fan. The Amazin’s usually give us that glimmer of hope with an Opening Day win followed by the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, and the creamy middles.
At least for today we can all enjoy my favorite part of the season: When thousands of people in Citi Field and millions at home boo the ever lasting shit out of Ray Ramirez when he is announced during the pregame Opening Day introductions.
92-70. See you at the parade in the Canyon of Heroes on Halloween. Cake and punch will be served. Costumes mandatory.
