I came into this video ready to be open to either side. Uber drivers have been known to fly off the deep end and act like assholes, drunk girls have been known to do the same, I was looking forward to rendering a verdict on who’s right and who’s wrong. But she’s so entitled and awful and not in touch with reality given that her sitting in that Uber had no effect on her getting home. Her friends were willing to get another cab and she still wouldn’t just get out and had to prove some point that no one was asked to prove. The guy didn’t help his case by flying off the deep end, calling them bitches, and generally seeming dangerously unhinged….but she definitely pushed him there. Deliberately and for no other reason than to be a drunken shit stirrer once she knew the ride wasn’t happening. Uber drivers can occasionally be pains in the ass with their cancellations and making things difficult (or generally being incompetent), but that attitude she brought to the dance makes it hard to be empathetic.

If I have to render a verdict: The guy shouldn’t lose his job as an Uber but I could DEFINITELY see how him uploading this will lead to that (you can’t go flying off the rails at tiny female customers as a somewhat scary bearded man), this girl is the fucking WORST and whatever guy dates her is going to have to deal with a lifetime of being castrated by her ego and sense of entitlement, and overall she probably should have stayed in the car and gone home with him by the end of it. It’s a thin line between love and hate and other than the hurtful things flying back and forth between the two, it’s hard to deny there wasn’t a little sexual tension in the air.
