The Mets 4 Horsemen Dining Together Is A Work Of Art

Noah. Jake. Harvey. Matz. Not since Jesus sat down to eat with his Disciples have we seen a more iconic picture. This should be framed and hung in a museum. An oil painting should be recreated and hung in the Louvre. The original photograph should be sent to Cooperstown to with 4 spaces reserved for each of their jerseys when they retire.

Or we can hang this painting at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. James Andrews can hang this in his vacation house in the Caribbean. These 4 guys who basically paid for his private tropical villa hanging above his bed.

Bottom line is either a World Series banner or a tragic Barstool Storyboards documentary is going to accompany these picture. Either way, its an iconic photo for this era of Mets baseball. Syndergaard, Harvey, Matz, deGrom and Wheeler are either going to be one of my fondest memories or my most painful. This year will be a big factor in deciding which way we’re headed.
