Wake Up With Gary Sheffield Hitting A Walk-Off Home Run Against The Orioles (1997)
I just realized that I did a Wake Up With blog with Gary Sheffield not too long ago, so I’m not gonna get into my thoughts on his Hall of Fame candidacy (again), but I will say that I could watch this dude hack homers all day. I don’t think “pretty” is a word that anyone would ever use to describe Sheff’s swing — more like “violent”. But whatever that word is, it doesn’t change the fact that he never hit a cheap home run in his life.
