Sabres GM Tim Murray Sets The Record Straight, Says He Will Most Definitely NOT Slap Jack Eichel's Pee Pee

Boy I sure am glad we cleared that one up. Listen, folks. Times have changed. This isn’t the 70’s anymore. There used to be a day when players would smoke cigarettes on the bench. General Managers would walk around the locker room slapping their players in the pee pee left and right. It was common practice. Nobody thought anything of it. But we live in a different day and age now. We live in a day and age now where a GM slapping a player’s pee pee is generally frowned upon. We’ve evolved past it. Doesn’t mean that everybody was wrong back in the 70s when you could slap some dicks in the locker room and that was just called Thursday. No. They just didn’t know any better. Typical locker room stuff back then. But that’s just not the case anymore and Tim Murray wants to make it abundantly clear that Jack Eichel’s penis will not be slapped, or at least not by him. That’s pretty important for a young player to know. That’s huge for his development that he can go into work every day knowing that his GM isn’t going to slap him in the cock at any given moment. So credit to Tim Murray for setting the standard there and fostering that culture of a “No Pee Pee Slapping Zone”.

Oh, and in case you’re looking for some context on this quote (which I don’t know why you would be, it’s better without context). Jack Eichel was a little salty toward the fans on Tuesday night when they boo’d the Sabres at the end of the 2nd period going in to the intermission down 3-1. Buffalo then came out and scored 3 goals in the 3rd to send the game into overtime, which they ended up winning. Anyway, Eichel just said something to the extent of “they boo’d us when we were losing and then they love us again when we win”. Nothing bad at all and if you’re a fan who gets upset at that, just put a bullet in your head. Anyway, Tim Murray was just trying to say that he has his young star’s back. He said it in the weirdest way possible, which is problematic to say the least. But “won’t get his pee pee slapped by me” is just his way of saying, “I agree with Jack and fully support him to vocalize his opinions and emotions”. Again, super weird way to say it but it’s the thought that counts. Or something like that.
