We’ve known for a while now that “Goon 2: Last of the Enforcers” was in the works. We’ve seen a few teaser trailers here and there. But now that Dougie Glatt is back in our lives with the official trailer, life just feels right. Doug the Thug. Ross the Boss. Jay Baruchel as the lovable fuck up mick friend. That shit dick Xavier LaFlamme. Those Russian bastards. And now a new hard dick enforcer on the block, Anders Cain. If there’s one thing that the first Goon movie taught us, it’s that Hollywood needs enforcers. Glad to see they’re coming out in full force next month. Plus a little cameo from one of the greatest enforcers there ever was, George Parros.
MAKE HOCKEY VIOLENT AGAIN.
Should be a real gongshow out there. Now stay away from my fuckin’ percocets.
P.S. – So many incredible moments from Goon. I feel like this movie doesn’t get nearly the amount of respect it deserves. People always want to say that Slapshot is the standard for hockey movies. But you’re a fool if you don’t think Goon goes right up there with it.
P.P.S – Jay Baruchel is great in everything he’s in/writes/produces/directs. Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, She’s Out Of My League, Goon and “Man Seeking Woman” are all A1. I just wish “Hot Ice” was a real show.
