Eagles Cut 2016 FA Highlight And Starting CB Leodis McKelvin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Eagles are going to release veteran cornerback Leodis McKelvis, according to a report from the NFL’s Ian Rapoport. The Eagles will save $3.2 million cap dollars by releasing McKelvin, who was set to count $3.45 million against the cap in 2017, according to overthecap.com.
ONE AND DONE! Awesome. Live look at Eric Rowe (and you can just imagine him holding the Lombardi trophy).
I’m spent with discussing this, but the fact the Eagles, a team with the worst cornerbacks in the league, dished off a very adequate CB in Eric Rowe for essentially nothing and months later he owns a ring while we’re cutting people who were considered head’s and shoulder’s better hurts to the core. Philly can’t have nice things.
