Is This The Hardest Friend Zoning Of Some Poor Dude Ever Recorded On Social Media?

So right off the bat: Whatever this dude did for her is a more romantic thing than 99% of men who will live full heterosexual lives courting and eventually marrying someone they genuinely care about will ever do. That’s an indisputable fact. The level of detail, multiple stops, appealing to the most basic female emotions with an “every girl’s dream” thing like horseriding, this is everything a woman would want in terms of the visions of thoughtfulness from a dream man. It caters to her every whim in an attentive way and even if it wasn’t this specific combination of activities, almost every girl would say she’d want a man who could provide that sort of experience for her.

But in reality, anyone who would do something like this outside of maybe an elaborate proposal is not someone most women would want to date. Girls may think they’d want it in theory but to plan out several activities, locations, surprises, any guy who’d do all this is either A) Way too desperate to get it in or B) Way too into her to keep a sustainable relationship, too much of an inequality in love and, in either situation, chick chemistry would kick in and she’s fully turn on the guy whether it’s justified or not. That’s how the world works. If a guy’s willing to go to these lengths for an average Thursday hangout, there’s a decent chance you’d end up in his freezer if you ever left. Not saying that’s this guy’s intentions and hey thoughtfulness is a great quality…but everything in moderation and this kind of effort level, especially for someone you’ve never even gotten intimate with, is an overdose at best and a surefire way to keep everyone #stillsingletho.

PS I’m not ruling out that maybe this chick had a rough patch and this guy is gay, I have to present that as a viable alternative. But the level of thought and planning going into it…maybe I’m not familiar enough with the gay male-female friend dynamic but based on girls I’ve seen with those friendships that seems wayyyyy too selfless of an act. Those relationships are purely based around getting drunk, talking shit, and fishing for compliments on fashion choices. It’s still not impossible this is the situation but it just feels like the caption would be sassier, more emojis maybe. It’s a thought.
