Pastor Encourages His Flock To Drink Rat Poison Which Seems Problematic

On Sunday‚ in photos posted on Grace Living Hope Ministries’ Facebook page‚ Monyeki “demonstrates power of faith by causing congregants to drink Rattex”.

Monyeki held the plastic bottle aloft and then declared “life from above upon the water mixed with Rattex; and spoke nourishment unto bodies and healing unto the sick”.

After he was the first to partake‚ “a multitude of congregants voluntarily ran to the front to have a drink of the deadly poison”.

I like going to church to sing songs. I love singing. I’ll stand there and sing my ass off. I’m not a big fan of praying, though. I dont like having my eyes closed while I’ll stand. It makes me feel dizzy and uncomfortable. Other than that, church is fine by me until you start offering me a little room temperature rat poison.

In my day, we had grape juice or wine, not rat poison. FYI, rat poison is actually poisonous. You shouldn’t gulp it down like this young fella is doing. Side effects of rat poison are stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting and even death. Many people don’t expect that, but it’s true.

I do admit that the people drinking rat poison look pretty damn happy. They are smiling their asses off just having the time of their lives. Maybe there is something to it. Maybe I would have just a tiny, tiny little sip of the sweet nectar of rat poison. Not too much. Not too much. Just a little poison to take the edge off.
