Choo Choo! CT From MTV: The Challenge Announces He Is A Dad

HollywoodLife- Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello is returning to ‘The Challenge,’ and he has a great reason. ‘The Real World’ alum confirmed to HollywoodLife.com exclusively that he’s actually a new father! And at 36, he’s calling this challenge — his twelfth — his best yet. “The main reason I came back, I know there’s going to come a time where he’s going to see me on TV. I want him to see me as I am today, and not some punk running around with his head cut off, smashing heads, you know,” CT told HollywoodLife.com in an exclusive sit down interview. “I wanted to set the right example. Darrell can attest to this, me and him are the old men on the show — all we did was trade baby pictures with each other. I became a father and perspective changes.”

CT, who is returning to compete with the Champs on season 29, The Challenge: Invasion, also said that he knows that some day, his son is going to look him up and doesn’t ever want him to pay for his mistakes. “He’s gonna see some bonehead running around with his head cut off, and it’s gonna be a lot harder to tell him to not do things when he sees stuff like that,” he said. “I wanted him to see me, when he’s old enough, as I am today.”

From one father to another, let me just say congrats to CT and the rest of the T family on the little bundle of joy. It’s pretty awesome to see someone that I was absolutely terrified of soften up a bit and become a real human being. I understand where he is coming from wanting to show his kid that he’s not just some Masshole knucklehead that cracks skulls. The softer side of Chris Tamburello was a beautiful thing to see when him and Diem were courting each other back in the day. Like legitimately one of the best love stories you will ever get out of any reality show, let alone one centered around the premise of boozing, banging, and jumping off of scaffolding. The ultimate good girl and bad guy relationship. I imagine we will see more “Chris” than “CT” on this season of The Challenge and I think I am okay with that. Hopefully these old veterans that we loved continue to grow up, have kids, and come back to The Challenge for another cash grab because kids are EXPENSIVE. Oh yeah and divorces. I feel like we are due for more than a few divorces that will bring old favorites back. Alimony ain’t cheap either.

Also can you imagine finding out your dad is CT? The dude that wanted to murder souls and eat faces? That’s like finding out your dad was the Big Bad Wolf and 2004 Madden Vick all rolled in one. Crazy shit. And if you don’t think teams of whatever sport CT Jr. plays when he gets older are going to tank for him the first year he is eligible to be drafted pro, you have never seen the Bananas Backpack video.

This is the truest tweet ever tweeted.

CT with dad strength CHANGES EVERYTHING for this season. He already could dominate people physically beforehand. What’s he going to do when they are trying to take bread off of his son’s table?

And CT, if you are reading this, I know you went on Pres’ podcast to talk Challenge last year. But I have a podcast about being a father AND a podcast about The Challenge. Can we make those worlds collide all for the sake of #content? At least listen to last week’s podcast with Evan and Kenny and tell me you will think about it.
