Wake Up With Garret Anderson Winning The 2003 All Star Game MVP

Fresh off a World Series title in 2002, Garret Anderson followed that up with some All Star Game MVP honors the following year, much like JD Drew the GOD in 2007-08. My dad fucking LOVED Garret Anderson for some reason. Nice little player, but he talked about him like he was Griffey or something. Hell of a night, though. That first hit was roped off of Kerry Wood in the only year that he led the league in strikeouts. The home run was off of Woody Williams in literally the only year that he made an All Star team, so meh there. But that double in the gap was off of Eric Gagne, which was right in the middle of his MLB record save streak (84 consecutive) and the year that he won the Cy Young award.
