A Fan Made A "Rogue One" Opening Text Crawl And It's Pretty Damn Perfect

via THR

I was fine going into Rogue One knowing there was no text crawl and even after seeing it, I am more than fine that there was no text crawl in the movies. Like I said in my Rogue One recap and review, it kinda separates these anthology movies from the rest of the Star Wars movie. But I have to admit that seeing those words on the screen again made it move. They even used all CAPS for some of the words, which I always thought was kind of weird but now is almost nostalgic. And can you imagine being in a theater in 1977 and watching the words Star Wars pop out of fucking nowhere and seeing all those words floating up? Heads probably exploded and that’s before you get to all the special effects that were wayyyy before their time. I need to ask Rear Ads about that next time I talk to him. I feel like the theaters must have been nothing but brains and jizz by the time the end credits rolled. Hell of a clean up for the kids that were probably making a buck an hour as movie theater janitors.

Now if you will excuse me, I am going to watch all the other fan made versions of this text crawl that are likely EXTREMELY similar to this one because why the fuck not?
