Forbes Releases It's Annual Top 10 Most Hated NFL Players And Surprise Surprise, Half Of The List Is Full Of Shit
(Source) Poor Michael Vick. His annoying hamstring injury has him on the Philadelphia Eagles bench, confined to watching Nick Foles run the offense. And now we find out that the dark cloud that began hovering over him years ago – the one that followed a prison term for his part in a dog-fighting ring – has barely budged.
It’s been more than four years since Vick was released from federal prison, where he served 19 months for bankrolling the dog-fighting operation. He’s performed well and avoided trouble ever since. Yet he is still stuck at or near the top of our various annual lists of disliked athletes. Once again, he tops our list of Most-Disliked NFL Players, according to the latest surveys from E-Poll Market Research, a California-based firm whose E-Score measures public opinion of thousands of celebrities based on likeability, awareness, confidence and many other attributes. Pollsters have told us on a few occasions that while Vick scores well with hardcore NFL fans, casual fans still identify him mostly with the legal woes of a few years ago.
Ah the good old Forbes most hated NFL Player list that makes no sense. A tradition like no other. First before I get to the list, who the fuck does this guy think he is? “Poor Michael Vick”. Yeah dude, poor Mike Vick, I can’t believe he’s had to struggle back from killing all those dogs. What perseverance. Shut up idiot. Mike Vick is now and will forever be hate-able. You don’t kill dogs and have people forget. He may be forgiven in the eyes of society but people don’t forget.
Now for the list. Mike Vick number 1? Check. Manti Teo number 2? I guess, I don’t think anyone actually hates the guy, he’s just an idiot and possibly a closet gay guy that got caught in a web of a thousand lies. Honestly I think he’s the type of guy most people will just forget. He’s in San Diego, he’s out of sight out of mind. Numbers 3 and 4, Suh and Roethlisberger, makes sense. One is the scum of the earth and the other rapes chicks. Two things everyone can hate. But once you get past 4 the list falls off the face of the earth for me. I don’t hate any of those guys. They all have done nothing to make me hate them. So here is my amended list starting from 5 on. No polls, no computers, just hate from my brain the good old fashioned way.
5. Brandon Meriweather
Pretty self explanatory.
7. Braylon Edwards
Currently a “free agent” which just means he sucks but who honestly doesn’t hate Braylon Edwards. He’s a dickhead AND he drops passes.
8. Richard Sherman
I actually like Richard Sherman but I think I’m in the minority here. I get the feeling a lot of people absolutely hate him.
9. Ray Lewis
I think Ray Lewis needs to be on the list for the rest of time just so we can all remember that time he killed a guy and pretended it didn’t happen and then spent the next 15 years “preaching” in everyone’s face.
