Turns Out Hockey Fans In Switzerland Are Way More Savage Than Fans In North America [Warning: NSFW]

When you go to an NHL game, you can always expect to see some sort of drunken debauchery go on in the crowd. Maybe people are chucking beers. Maybe people are hurling out an entire catalog of curse words. Maybe there’s a fight or two in the stands. I’d never once think to say that an experience at a hockey game would be a shining moment of human excellence. But as it would turn out, fans in North America are pretty soft in comparison to fans of HC Lugano of the Swiss National League.

If you’re a soccer fan, you’re probably familiar with a “tifo”. It’s usually a giant flag or something like that the fans use to support their squad.  HC Lugano fans decided to take it a step further. Now I realize that Barstool Sports [dot] com is a family site. And I realize that plenty of you are probably reading this at work right now. So we’ll ease our way into this and slowly get rid of Brent Burns. Just so you know, the 3rd photo is going to be on the NSFW side. So if you continue to scroll down, that’s on you. There’s your warning.

A giant replica of Sidney Crosby. How offensive. Nice set of cans, though.

I’ve got no idea what these Swiss bastards are trying to get at with this one. Not sure if they’re trying to call the other team a bunch of pussies. Not sure if they’re just trying to throw them off by distracting them with a naked cartoon chick to look at while they come down on a breakaway. No clue whatsoever. All I do know is that if Hockey Twitter here couldn’t even handle fans chanting “Katy Perry” at Corey Perry without losing their shit, they would fucking EXPLODE if this ever happened in the NHL. So yeah, let’s try to make that happen.
