Bold, bold move from the Donald. Here we are less than 2 months out from election day and he goes out and makes an aggressive declaration that the president of the United States was born in the United States. Craziness. Nobody knows how this will pan out. Pundits scrambling.
Obviously one of Trump’s monumental fights over the last several years has been his birther thing. He just adamantly refused to believe or admit that Obama was born in the United States. He was ready to fight to the death over the simple fact that he believed Obama was born outside of the US and, therefore, not eligible to be president. And when Obama’s birth certificate did surface and was confirmed, he was just like “nope.”
Then today…
Trump says Obama "was born in the United States. Period." Then walks off stage.

Birther out.
