Tennis Player Who Can't Handle Heckling Threatens To Put His Balls In Spectator's Mouth

At first I was team tennis player here. Any time an athlete mixes it up with fans it’s usually good for a laugh. But the thing about Bernard Tomic is he wasn’t doing it for a laugh, he was straight up pissed and couldn’t handle a little chirping from the crowd. The balls in his mouth line was funny, the “look at me, I’m so rich” stuff just means the spectator is living in your head. And Tomic was definitely rattled, as he ended up losing to some “peasant” as he’d call it. I respect the shit out of him giving it back to the crowd, but instead of being funny he went the Portnoy “I own a house on Nantucket and you’re poor” route which means you lost.

The Twitter vid above is shocking because these guys are genuinely rattled by the crowd commenting on things like their clothes. Is it really that easy to get in a tennis player’s head? If so, why isn’t Andy Roddick (whoever the new Andy Roddick is, I’m behind on my tennis) chirping and stirring the pot every match? Take the mental advantage, new Roddick.
