Marvel Did A Short Film On Where Thor Was For 'Captain America: Civil War' And It's The Funniest Thing They've Ever Done

I don’t think you have to be some huge Marvel fanboy to have enjoyed this spin on why Thor wasn’t around for the various extremely consequential events of Captain America: Civil War. But as someone who’s sat through I think every movie they’ve put out and enjoyed the vast majority, I’m still blown away by how funny this whole thing was. It was like the best parts of the original Thor movie where he’s a fish out of water combined with The Office. And, of course, drawings of Thor’s hammer carrying a tiny Thor:

The entire fate of the fictional universe is because some big purple dude is tired of standing up. To be honest, that makes at least as much sense as scientists missing a planet just like Earth not too far away that’s been right there for god knows how many years. Thor: Strong, handsome, surprisingly good at making Homeland-style boards to unravel complex intergalactic mysteries.
