Here’s a little fun fact for all you kids at home. No city in the history of sports has ever won the Major League Ultimate championship in the same summer that they won the ArenaBowl. But that’s what the city of Philadelphia has in front of them tonight. Great moments are born from great opportunity. And that is what Philadelphia has EARNED here tonight. The Spinners won the MLU championship in July. Now the Philadelphia Soul will square off against the Arizona Rattlers tonight at 7 for AFL supremacy. The City of Champions looks to add another title to our resume and this time, it’s personal. (I don’t know why but I just feel like that’s a better promo)
If you’re looking for a preview for tonight’s game, here’s all you need to know. The Soul have a guy who throws the ball really well. Receiving those balls are a few guys who catch really well. Some of them even catch better than others. The defense is pretty dece at keeping the other team from scoring. Arizona is apparently pretty good. I don’t know. I guess that would make sense if they’re in the final. The game will probably come down to who has the better kicking. Those field goal posts sure are skinny. Anyway, enough of the stats and analytics. Let’s just let our boy Monty G fire up the hype train and let’s #rollwiththesoul.
