Truck On The Tracks Gets Absolutely Smoked By Boston Bound Commuter Rail

First thing’s first, the truck driver was airlifted to the hospital but he was conscious so I guess that’s a good sign?

Second thing’s second, was there nothing there to alert this dude that a fucking train was coming? No stoppage or blinking light or handpanited sign that said “Look the fuck out, there’s a locomotive right behind that tree”? I figured that he stalled out on the tracks but when I saw the second angle it appears like he just ripped right on out there. Which leads me to my question: if there was no sign or whatever, which I assume means you can sue the fuckkkkkkk out of the state of Massachusetts, would you take this hit? You gotta, right? The train was going 29 MPH which isn’t really that fast. That’s the accident you get in when someone blows through a stop sign in a suburb. I get that it’s a train and train 29 MPH probably feels a little different than Subaru 29 MPH, but it’s still not that fast. I think you gotta take it. Hear a train coming and see no warning or obstruction? Pedal to the metal, baby. Go out there and get that paper.

PS – That second paragraph was written with the assumption that he’s going to be OK. Maybe a few broken bones. If it turns out that dude is dead or paralyzed or something then I’m deleting it so fast and all of you have to keep it a secret. Deal? Deal.
