A Guy's Older Brother Subbing In For Him During A Street Fight Seems A Bit Against The Spirit Of It All

I mean on some level it’s nice to see family sticking together and, as an only child, I’m definitely envious of that kind of “My fight is your fight” loyalty that most brothers have. But in this situation it seems a wee bit unfair. Ultimately it’s much more fair than the brother jumping in and them both stomping the dude’s skull in two-on-one. But it’s still pretty shitty that he came in and ran through this guy after he went a round with his brother. In most of these street fights the dudes gas out within about 30 seconds because it’s exhausting throwing/eating punches if you’re not a trained fighter. This guy basically got the Kimbo Slice (RIP sweet prince)/Dada 5000 (sorta RIP much-less-sweet prince) treatment and then had to fight a new, fresh, bigger dude. He hung in there for a little but it was inevitable he’d end up keeled over in those bushes fighting that guy, a total stacked deck like Vince McMahon trying to screw over Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the day.

Plus I felt bad for the dude in the tank top as he had to square up to the older brother and was like “I’ve got no beef with you man.” He knew he was in trouble and he ended up being right, but logically he also just had no reason to be in that second fight. Beef doesn’t transfer over to brother to brother just because the Legion of Doom here thinks they can tag out. Total no-win situation for tank top guy but he can hold his head high after showing a lot of heart in defeat. Twas a hollow victory for Dookie from The Wire at best.
