Le'Veon Bell May Be Suspended Four Games For Missing A Drug Test
PFT- The Steelers may have to start the season without running back Le’Veon Bell. Bell is facing a four-game suspension for a missed drug test, Dan Graziano of ESPN reports. Under the NFL’s substance-abuse policy, players can be disciplined not only if they test positive, but also if they do not make themselves available for a test. Bell has had limited success appealing a suspension once before: He was initially suspended for the first three games of last season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy after he was arrested for marijuana possession and DUI, but he appealed and got that suspension reduced to two games.
Four games over a missed test? Have you guys ever heard of just good old fashioned forgetting about an appointment? It’s 2016 and we still don’t have a good reminder app for things like this. Google Calendars is decent but I still get notifications sometimes only on my computer or only on my phone. Same with the Reminders app. Technology is now a crutch for the human race. And if that crutch is removed, we fall. So if Roger Goodell wants to suspend anyone, he should suspend Tim Cook and Steve Jobs (RIP). Fight the good fight against the tyranny of Roger Goodell, Le’Veon and take this bitch all the way up to the Supreme Court!
Also I love that the Steelers may be playing with one arm tied behind their back right off the jump. Usually it’s not until like Week 5 where the entire O-Line is hurt and Big Ben is playing with some ridiculous injury. Trying to win the Super Bowl while missing Le’Veon Bell for 4 weeks and Martavis Bryant for the season due to suspensions would be like winning the Oregon Trail as the farmer. It’s not impossible, but it will be tough and impressive as hell if it happens.
