I get that we are supposed to be anti-Buzzfeed-esque clickbait headlines around these parts. But I was very close to writing “Bakers Creates Pimple Cupcakes And YOU WON’T BELIEVE Where They’re From”. Mainly because this is the exact type of shit you’d expect to see coming out of Japan or any other Asian nation. This has weird ass Asians written all over it. They’re constantly trying to out bizarre one another over there and this seems pretty par for the course. But no. These monstrosities come from the only place in the world that could possibly keep up with Asia in the bizarro department. California.
Daily Mail – The whole world has seemingly become obsessed with watching videos of Dr Pimple Popper and her completely gross yet strangely satisfying videos.
And while clips of zits, blackheads and cysts being popped should make you sick to your stomach, one baker has used them as inspiration. Creative bakers from Blessed By Baking, in California, have whipped up some very realistic looking pimple cupcakes… that you can actually squeeze.
Now here’s the thing. I’m not here to judge what anybody finds “satisfying” to watch on the internet. If you check any one of our computers (besides Hillary Clinton since she deleted everything), you’ll most definitely find some incriminating shit. Or at the very least, highly questionable and embarrassing shit. Maybe you’ve got some weird porn fetish, maybe you like to torture yourself by constantly checking how many days its been since the Flyers won the Stanley Cup, maybe you just really like to watch people getting their gigantic gross fucking pimples popped. But the moment you deface and desecrate the glorious sanctitude of cupcakes with this oddly popular internet trend, well then that’s where we as a society have to draw the line. Keep your fetishes on the line and off the cupcakes. That’s all I ask of you. Now excuse me while I go fill up my trash can with vomit for the rest of the day.
