The "Heated Fight" Between Nick Saban and Paul Finebaum Turning Out To Be Not A Big Deal Ruined My Day

AL.com - Things got heated on the SEC Network stage Wednesday morning in Hoover.

Nick Saban and Paul Finebaum sparred over the decision to not suspend Cam Robinson or Hootie Jones following their May 17 arrest. The exchange continued into the commercial break in a ballroom full of reporters covering SEC Media Days.

Within earshot of media, Saban launched into a four-letter tirade directed at Finebaum. In it, he used his fingers to note the small amount of marijuana found in the car and insinuated the arresting officers were disgruntled LSU fans.

Heard rumors and rumblings from SEC Media Days that after Nick Saban’s interview with Paul Finebaum, he went crazy off-camera and the two had this massive confrontation.

I mean look at this tweet.

And this is what we got? A “heated” exchange that ended in laughter and the two saying goodbye and walking away?

So disappointing.

Or you know what? Maybe I just played myself. Maybe this is exactly what Saban WANTED me to think after his team of handlers came in and scrubbed the situation. Cut half the footage, edited the ending, hit everyone in the room with Men In Black memory eraser then planted their version of the story with the media. Oh my God Saban runs the world so much that I don’t even realize it.

Somebody for the love of God go locate Finebaum’s body kneecapped, murdered and stuffed in a dumpster somewhere.
