The Knicks Have Reportedly Signed Maurice Ndour From Real Madrid (The Basketball Team)

Look at the Zen Master just loading up on foreign players to surround our superstar big man. It worked for Gregg Popovich in San Antonio, so why not on a bigger stage in New York? Most foreign players are pretty big unknowns when they come to the U.S. Ndour didn’t put up great numbers in Spain last year, but neither did our beloved Young Kristaps before he came here. But Ndour played college ball at Ohio University and was an absolute beast for the Knicks in last year’s Summer League. So buckle up, watch some highlights and envision Ndour doing work, either in The World’s or Westchester County’s Most Famous Arena. And trigger warning, athletic big guys that can play defense, have a smooth jumper, and sweet ass hair are easy to fall in love with.

Plus Ndour can speak five languages, including two that I have never even heard of. So that can’t be a bad thing, right?

And I’m a big jersey number guy. Moreso in the NFL, where numbers can make you look slow or fast. Ndour will apparently be wearing number 2 with the Knicks.

Which has had an uneven history at The Garden. Hopefully he’s more LJ and less Maurice Taylor.

And before you start believing any of those rumors about Russell Westbrook going to the Celtics, just remember that there are more Photoshops of him wearing a Knicks jersey than of him wearing a Celtics jersey. That has to count for something.

Some will say that this tweet was inspired by Kevin Durant signing with the Warriors. But I am choosing to believe that it was about the Knicks.
