Well the whole Bernie bonanza was fun while it lasted. And it lasted forever. Way longer than anyone thought. God bless Bernie for holding on as long as possible and then longer. When the math was 100% against him and Hillary was celebrating her presumptive nomination, he still held on. Even after she was not indicted for her emails and his final hopes of swooping in were dashed, he STILL held on. Even went on with CNN and talked about how he understood the nomination math was impossible but that free college needed a voice. I wasn’t even mad — it was amazing.
But alas, it has come to an end. Bernie has put his tail between his legs and endorsed Hillary and… people are shocked! People are mad! Which is always one of the most fascinating parts of presidential election cycles. Even the mainstream media jumps in. They’ll be playing all sorts of clips of Bernie shitting on Hillary, then juxtapositioning that with his endorsement and follow it up with a 15-minute panel analyzing how Bernie could suddenly shift so dramatically.
They did the same thing with Trump. They did the same thing with Obama and Hillary. They’ll do the same thing in 2020 with Kanye West. It’s a 240-year-old cycle and guess what — it’s never changed. A democrat endorsed the democratic nominee for president, oh my! What’re you gonna tell me next, Hillary’s gonna move towards the center for the general?
