You can actually hear this guy’s brain churning in full blown Spin Zone Mode all the way until they are able to confirm that he won the race. He probably had the whole script memorized. “I tried my hardest, it was an honor just to compete with great athletes, and to take home any medal is a dream true. Blah, blah, blahhhhh.” Nobody wants to win the silver medal. To quote a wise man from Alabama, “I want the gold. Gimme the gold.” So of course this guy took off like the Road Runner after having it confirmed. Only thing missing was a cloud of dust because if you ain’t first, you’re last. Spin Zone fake joy to actual real life pure joy all in like two minutes flat. Just a beautiful thing to watch.
P.S. Can Europe just figure it out and adopt a common language? How is this confusion between speaking Dutch and Spanish still a thing in 2016? The currency is the same, the measuring system is the same. Just adopt English as the official language of the continent, which would allow England back in the EU using some sort of Vince McMahon loophole like “If you are the home of the official language of the EU, you can re-enter the EU.” Boom, two problems solved at once.
