Juan Uribe Has Homered In Every Game Since He Took A One-Hopper To The Dick

How do you come back from your own teammates laughing in your face after your testicles were disintegrated by a baseball, just before getting carted off the field? You come back, and you show the world why there isn’t a cup on this planet that will fit that big swinging dick of yours, and you hit a home run in every single game after your return. That’s how you come back from that.

So, my question is, are the Indians finally getting the respect that they deserve now? Sure, the Royals are a very good team, and they deserve all the attention that they get as the defending World Series champions and back-to-back American League champions, but don’t let what the Royals have done over the last two years distract you from what the Indians are doing right now. On June 3, the Indians hosted the Royals for a four-game series and swept all four games to go from a game and a half back to two and a half games up. A week later, the Indians went the Kansas City for a three-game series, and the Royals returned the favor by sweeping the Indians to move the two teams into a first place tie.

Since being swept by the Royals, the Indians have gone on to win five straight, with the last four of those consecutive victories being the games that Uribe has homered in. The five-game winning streak has the Tribe two games up on the Royals heading into play on Wednesday. It looks like it’s going to be a back and forth battle for the AL Central, especially with these two teams slated to play each other nine more times this year. And wouldn’t ya know it, the Indians and Royals open the last month of the season with a three-game series in Cleveland, and they close out the season with a three-game series in Kansas City. Should be a lot of fun to watch, especially if they both end up in the postseason, which is totally possible, considering that the Royals currently hold the second Wild Card spot.
