DraftKings Has You Covered For The Summer Of Soccer, Here Are Some Underrated Picks
Holla! Sign up now for DraftKings summer of soccer, and because I love you, I got some underrated picks just for you, you’re welcome.
Alfredo Talavera (goalkeeper), Mexico/Toluca
Memo “Pube Puff” Ochoa gets all the hype in net for Mexico but reports suggest it is Talavera who has the inside track at the starting spot, which could be a big points-earner is El Tri makes a run in the tourney.
Ronald Matarrita (defender), Costa Rica/NYCFC
Solid start to his MLS career this season after coming over from Costa Rican heavyweight Alajuelense. Still only 21-years-old, Matarrita should be a player to watch – provided the recent 0-7 ass-whooping at the hands of NY Red Bulls didn’t decimate his confidence.
Edwin Cardona (midfielder), Colombia/Monterrey
Cardona has been absolutely killing it in Liga MX of late and could be poised for a big Copa slotted in next to James Rodriguez, who will undoubtedly attract plenty of attention that could leave space and time for Cardona.
Duckens Nazon (forward), Haiti/Laval
Is coming off a relatively quiet domestic season in France but proved to be a handful last summer at the Gold Cup, and will be at the center of the action if/when Haiti is able to muster anything offensively. Importantly, it’s tough not to root for a dude named Duckens.
