Today Is The 25th Anniversary Of The Cubs First Official Night Game

Well yesterday was supposed to be but guess what, of course 8.8.88 got rained out because why wouldn’t it, it’s the Cubs. So today is the day. Personally, I think the day games are one of the best parts of Wrigley and the Cubs. There’s something special about a Friday/Saturday afternoon day game in the summer where everyone just gets after it.  Obviously selling 10,000 tickets to a Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon game probably doesn’t fly all year around, but I’m a day game guy through and through.

Unrelated to this but If we’re being honest, I’m contemplating shutting the site down for the rest of the day in respect for the baby dolphin that didn’t have a name.
