The thing is, Bartolo really is a natural. Just a free swinging man with one mission – hit the ball as hard as he can. At the age of 40 the man picked up a bat as a professional and just a couple seasons later you gotta worry about him going yard. Imagine if Bartolo was in the NL all these years? Imagine if he was used to stepping up to the plate? He’d probably have like 50 homers.
Luckily I think Tolo might play forever so now that he’s hit his stride as an offensive powerhouse we can watch him rake for the next 6 or 7 years.
