Breaking News: CC Sabathia Is Placed On The DL

If this isn’t a sign of how the season is going, I don’t know what is. CC just had a good start in Baltimore, where he went public as an alcoholic, and now hes on the 15 day DL with a groin strain. The 2016 Yankees season is quickly turning into 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Hopefully this is a short trip to the DL or at least someone steps up in the meantime because a season long situation is not the distraction we need right now.

Phil Coke has been called up but there is no word as to if he or Nova will take CC’s spot in the rotation on Monday. With our luck lately we’ll have to make another move before then anyway so who knows.
