It’s go time. All hands on deck. The Caps don’t have the best track record vs the Pens in the playoffs historically, and more importantly, didn’t play great against them in the regular season. But thankfully none of that matters now. History is thrown out the window. It’s first to 4 games between the two best teams in the East. The Pens are fast and their 21 year old goalie Matt Murray played fantastic against the Rangers. Not to be outdone, the Caps are healthy and Holtby was a brickwall against the Flyers. It’ll be a fast, up and down, highly skilled series between the two teams. But I like the Caps experience and toughness more, and the Pens have a weaker blue line and don’t have a Vezina candidate in net. I love the Caps to win tonight and take the series, either 6 or 7.
