[Palm Beach Post] A Jupiter man was arrested for throwing a live alligator into a Wendy’s restaurant drive-through east of Loxahatchee, according to our news partners at WPTV News Channel 5.
Joshua James, 23, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator, and second-degree larceny petit theft, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.
Officials with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission told WPTV that James pulled up for his order, and after a server handed a drink and turned around, James tossed the 3 1/2-foot gator into the drive-through window.
Reminds me of that time I saw a commercial for the Homestyle Chicken Sandwich…
So I laced up my boots, walked 14 blocks to the nearest Wendy’s during lunch time, waded through a sea of homeless people at the front, stood in line for 20 minutes, finally reached the counter and they told me they weren’t even carrying it. Ended up with a plain old dumbass cheeseburger and sea salt fries. Just saying if I had access to a 3 and a half foot live alligator I would have chucked that motherfucker right into the cashier’s face.
Fast food joints consistently disappoint like that. They’re supposed to be 24 hours, yet every time you pull up blasted off your ass at 2 AM, they’re “closed for cleaning” (handwritten sign). They continually change up everyone’s favorite things, play around with all the value menus when you finally get used to them, keep trying to force “healthier” options on you. If you’re a Drive Thru Window Operator you just need to know that you can only push a loyal customer base so far before they start rebelling and throwing alligators at you.
ESPECIALLY in Florida.
You and I both know you’re getting Wendy’s for lunch now. You cannot physically look at a picture like the one I posted above and not eat it ASAP.
