We Did It Guys, Our Boy Is Going To Toronto
Is the All Star game really a big deal? No not really. There are plenty of legit NBA players who are yet to be an All Star. For me, and Celtics fans alike, the case for Isaiah Thomas felt personal. Everything you look at screamed he’s worthy. A few weeks ago I broke it down and he’s been even better since.
I’m mostly happy because Isaiah made it no secret how important this was to him. As a guy who has been overlooked at every stage of his basketball career, it’s nice to see him finally get the recognition that he so badly deserves. As the first All Star of the post Big 3 Era, even though its a fake game that means nothing more than probably a contract bonus, it’s great to see a member of the Celtics on the squad.
So congrats Isaiah, you earned it.

I can’t wait for IT4 to drop 30 in this game and still not get the MVP. Going to be fun.
