Jeff Wilpon Says Signing Cespedes Was "All Part Of The Plan"

Alright here’s the deal – after this blog, I am going to shut up about the Wilpons. Because at the end of the day, they put their money where their mouth is. They upgraded is some minor ways and in a major way and so its time for Mets fans to shut the fuck up about the Wilpons. I know I’m speaking mostly to myself but I know the majority of Mets fans felt the same way I did – and I know how bashing the Wilpons for being cheap is like a staple of life at this point – but they finally ponied up so just be happy and focus on winning 100 games next season.

BUT…all that being said, I CANNOT let that sniveling fucking weasel run around town thumping his chest saying this was the plan all along and the Mets orchestrated this whole thing. If this asshole thinks for one second that this fan base believes that he’s a condescending prick. The very definition of pissing on my head and telling me its raining. It took the absolute PERFECT STORM of being shamed publicly, the outfield market more or less caving in, the Mets two main rivals showing interest at the 11th hour, AND a star free agent who inexplicably wanted to play for this franchise. The Mets said publicly twice they were moving on from Cespedes and if every piece of the puzzle didnt fall into place, essentially forcing the Wilpons to finally buy one free agent, it wouldnt have happened. There is no fucking “plan” that could foresee those circumstances and take them all into account, you dickheads.

But like I said I’m not here to complain about the Wilpons anymore. Its about 5 aces, Yo Knows, Conforto Bombs and another World Series Run. LGM.
