Boston College Hockey Coach Jerry York Got Career Win 1000 Friday Night vs UMass

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to the greatest college hockey coach who ever lived. 40 years behind the bench and on Friday night, Jerry York became the first coach ever to hit 1000 career wins. 1000 total wins at three different schools, FIVE National Championships, and has sent dozens of players to the NHL. From Rob Blake all the way to Johnny Gaudreau, Jerry York has groomed some of the game’s best. He’s in a class with Coach K, Pat Summit, Nick Saban, and Bear Bryant, but York goes largely unrecognized because very few people really care about college hockey.  Those who know, know. Congrats to Coach York, keep recruiting and sending stoolies to the NHL because that’s good for our #brand.
