Well there you have it, folks. The Mount Rushmore for the 2015-16 season in the fans’ eyes is Steph Curry, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kristaps Porzingis. A player becoming a Hall of Famer right before our eyes, another one potentially starting to slow down a bit, a third on his last legs, and another one rising like a goddamn phoenix. Now the whole world has Godzingis Fever and the only prescription is buying more jerseys. Soon he’ll have Rihanna swinging from that Latvian D as more fire tracks are dropped in his honor. What a ride this has been for Knicks fans and people that just appreciate special players.
And I still can’t believe this guy is 7’3″. I mean he can play defense like a 7’3″ player, but he can shoot like a guard and moves like a wing. He is basically a Create A Player from NBA 2K come to life. I honestly don’t know what his ceiling is because we have never seen a player like him before. Which is why if this foot injury he is nursing has even a remote chance of becoming something serious, the Knicks have to sit him tonight against Utah. Because this guy isn’t normal.

So when you put the league’s hottest player in the unofficial capital of the free world, you get things like the Knicks being the most valuable franchise in the NBA despite being a laughing stock for years and years. I am just scared to see how James Dolan will attempt to screw this all up.
