The Orioles Have a 5 Year, 90 Million Dollar Offer On The Table For Cespedes

Is it happening? Are the Orioles going to get an absolute steal in Yo Cespdes? To some 90 million over 5 years is a lot, but when you look at the contracts that were signed this offseason, I’m fairly sure 90 over 5 is what a utility infielder is making. Chris Davis keeps turning down 154/7, and it appears the Orioles might have started out by bluffing with Ces, but now are all in. Save money, get an explosive outfielder who carried the Mets on his shoulders last season, and hopefully use some of that saved money to invest in the team. Cespedes and Adam Jones in the outfield is a dangerous duo. And we’d get to make Yo Knows Boh shirts which would be the hottest ticket in town. I guess now we wait to see if the Mets decide to actually keep a bat on the roster or are really going to let 5 starting pitcher studs go to waste.
