Jeremy Hill's Sideline Reactions After Fumbling Against The Steelers Is Pretty Sad To Watch
That one hurts. I love his emotion though. Despite the money and fame, he is literally an emotional wreck after that fumble. DeSean Jackson returns punts back to the wrong endzone and fumbles, goes “my b”, and then smiles with Dez Bryant at midfield 2 minutes later. Need more guys like Jeremy Hill. I want to say that we all have felt like Jeremy Hill in our own lives, which we have in our own ways, but never on national television. Never with the amount of pressure and scrutiny. He’s lucky for a couple of reasons though: 1) he’s a pretty likable guy. If it’s some douchebag who does that, tons more hate from the fans. Hill is a fan favorite, so that helps him, and 2) Vontaze Burfict and Pacman Jones took the field and did their whole “let’s give the Steelers 30 yards from penalties real quick” song and dance, putting the Steelers in field goal range. Though it sucks he fumbled, it’s not all on him.
Also, it’s been talked about, but still not talked about enough, how Ben took the field with his arm basically not working, and the Bengals were playing the softest coverage ever. He could not throw the ball. Couldn’t do it. And the Bengals coaching or the players, whoever it was, didn’t realize it.
PS: Where were Hill’s teammates to help him calm down? Maybe a coach? Anyone? Bueller?
