REPORT: The Eagles Have Offered Adam Gase The Job And He's Talking It Over With His Family

And there you have it. A low level WIP guy apparently is friends with someone in Gase’s family. He probably soured his relationship with them by scooping this juicy tidbit (if it’s even true at all), but whatever. All about the radio pageviews, baby! Not to mention Gase and the Eagles are still going forward with other interviews. So without further ado, here’s “Everything you need to know” about Adam Gase, apparently:

Thanks, guys! Don’t discount the fact the man never played college football, is essentially the complete opposite personality wise of Chip Kelly (you can see Lurie’s pitched tent from space), and Peyton manning basically ran the offense when he was in Denver. You know, the little things. I still agree that Gase is probably the best fit for the Eagles now that Sean Payton is off the table, but holy hell I have my doubts. Again, the biggest reason I think he’s the best play for our Birds is because everyone is telling me so. That’s it. I haven’t heard one negative thing about this guy other than he’s “Too honest with the media”. Seriously. Not one bad thing. And people throwing out the “Genius” label on him scares the shit out of me even more. Then again, people in Chicago seem pissed he’s going to be leaving, so I guess that means a lot? I really have no idea. The only thing I do know is, again, as long as there’s no great efficient talent evaluator in this organization we’re not going to do dick. So keep on letting Howie Roseman drafting those Danny Watkins and Marcus Smith gems, Jeff! One of ‘em will hit!
