SVP Reliving The Infamous Belk Bowl On Last Night's "Bad Beats" Was Cruel And Unusual Punishment

Listen, I know the Belk Bowl has become folklore. One of those things where everyone claims to have had Duke, like everyone claiming they were at the Miracle on Ice or big event ____. But I actually did have Duke and it still hurts. One of the most unbelievable beats of all time. But you know what? There’s a small part of me that sneaky loves it. Not the losing money part, that part sucks, but the part that knows the Belk Bowl and it’s crazy finish perfectly embodies Bowl Season. There is just nothing better than this time of year. Sweating out Duke vs Cincinnati in a meaningless bowl game in late December is heaven on earth. Like last year’s Bahamas Bowl, that game ruined me for like 3 days but I still loved it. Late December is a degenerate’s delight and I for one can not wait to get going.
