Ovi Scored Twice, Holtby Got a Shutout, And Wilson and Latta Committed Murders As The Caps Beat The Penguins Last Night

Pure, unadulterated murder! The Pens walked into Verizon Center and left beaten and broken. Ovi lit them up, Holtby shut them down, and the kids Tom Wilson and Michael Latta were murdering folks out there. Have to love Steve Downie crying to the refs after Lats kicked his ass too.

Isles fans, Rangers fans, and Flyers fans all tweeted about how happy they were to see Downie dead on the ice, so that was pretty funny.

Ovi put 2 in on MAF last night, and now has taken the league lead in goals.

Stepping in front of an Ovi shot is basically a death sentence at this point. You just have to kinda hope it hits you and doesn’t puncture a lung.

Pretty great 4-0 win for the boys. The Pens started throwing cheapies late in the game, because when they can’t beat a team, they resort to throwing elbows. Pens gonna Pens I suppose.
