Great segment from GameDay today. Hank Goff, from the “War Dogs” 2nd Battalion in the Helmand province of Afghanistan – out of 1,000 soliders, 20 were killed, 160 wounded (30 amputees) – to defensive end at Concordia, where football “gave him joy…when he was slipping into darkness.” A reminder that it’s not just one day a year that we should appreciate what veterans do for us.
