Pats Vs. Redskins "I'm Bored Already" Live Blog

Listen I don’t want to sound like a spoiled or ungrateful Pats fan here, but sometimes it’s not that easy being us. Take today for example. It’s a perfect November afternoon and I should be all fired up for some football. But how can you get fired up for the Redskins? How can you get fired up for a scrimmage? There is no intrigue or mystery with this game. The outcome is not in doubt. The Pats are gonna slaughter Washington and everybody knows it. I mean it’s week 9 and the only thing the Pats are worried about is staying healthy. We’ve already won the AFC East again. We’re already guaranteed a spot in the AFC title game. We’re probably going to go undefeated. It’s the same old song and dance. Our season doesn’t start till mid January. The AFC title game and the Superbowl. That’s all that matters. Those are the only games that get me excited anymore. Oh well. I guess sometimes wining 100% of the time isn’t all gumdrops and candy canes.  Heavy is the head that wears the crown indeed.
