Dude In India Gets Drunk, Falls In A Hole, And Dies When Construction Workers Build A Road Over Him
NEW DELHI — A drunken man in India died after he fell into a hole and construction workers built a road over him, police said on Monday. Police in the district of Katni in Madhya Pradesh state in central India said the 45-year-old was returning home on Friday evening when he fell into the hole. Laborers then filled the hole with molten tar and used a heavy roller to flatten the surface. Locals later spotted the man’s shirt and he was pulled out of the newly laid road dead on Monday, police said. “His body has been sent for post mortem and further investigation is in process,” sub-inspector N.P. Chaudhary told Reuters TV. The man had gone to a village fair and was heading home after visiting a liquor shop, The Times of India said. A driver and a road worker have been arrested, the newspaper said.
Rough way to go. Rough, rough way to cow. Reminds me of the dude from Brazil who died when a cow was walking on top of house, fell through his roof, and crushed him in bed. Thats still The GOAT in my book as far as Worst Ways To Die. Or I guess I should say The COW. But falling in a hole in India and getting molten tar pour on you and steamrolled is way up there. Particularly because its India. I feel like they dont even have real roads in India. So like the one place they were making a real road you got shitfaced and steamrolled into molten tar? Thats just fucking wrong place, wrong time my man. You had a few to many cocktails in the wrong Third World country. Those village fairs in India will get you every time. Make sure you take the dirt roads home when you’re shitfaced in New Dehli or you might end up getting paved over into the street.
PS – Would love to know what the post-mortem investigation is like on this one. “Yup, definitely looks like a man who was steamrolled into tar”
PPS – Spare me any of the outrage. You know the rules. Deaths are fair game in the blog world if they are foreigners. Especially Third Worlders.
