Former Redskin Fred Smoot Arrested For Domestic Assault

TMZ - Former NFL star Fred Smoot was arrested in Washington D.C. on Sunday for domestic violence after allegedly beating up a female … TMZ Sports has learned. The 35-year-old cornerback — who finished his career with the Washington Redskins — was arrested for misdemeanor simple assault. The alleged victim has posted photos on social media showing cuts to her upper lip and bruises to her arm. She also claims to have requested a restraining order against Smoot. Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports … Smoot was arraigned this morning and was released on $2,500 bond.

Oh Smooty. This guy is on the radio almost every day and he’s downright hilarious. Legitimately one of the funniest people I’ve ever heard. Black people are already naturally funny, and he’s even funnier. So it fucking sucks that he’s into hitting women. You can’t do that shit. It’s ridiculous. 11 am on a Sunday too? Yuck. Obviously he’s now suspended from all his gigs, and you have to believe he’ll be fired. I don’t really get it. Just don’t hit a woman. It will never turn out in your favor.
