Little mini-roundup for the Monday night game – unanimous #1 team in the country and defending champ Ohio State marching into Blacksburg. Had so much stuff going on I just had to do put it all together in case you missed or just wanted to relive all the action.
Virginia Tech was bringing the fire pre-game. You had deadly crowd signs…
Players rocking gold G-Shocks blingin all up in your face…
And, of course…Enter Sandman.
One of the best things in college sports. Chills.
Had Urban shrinking up.
And, of course, incredibly classy uniform moves.
Anyway on to the game.
In a somewhat surprise move, Cardale got not only start, but basically the whole game to himself. Not sure if that’s sticking though (it is).
He was a little shaky for an opener, but overall, real impressive, as usual.
Looked like Ohio State was going to run away with this one early.
Remember Zeke? Yup he’s still out there.
But in a shocking turn of events, V-Tech not only hung in there, but actually stormed back to take the lead at halftime, led by QB Michael Brewer.
Yeah 14-0 to 17-14 isn’t a huge deal if you’re checking GameCast, but anyone who was watching the game knows how unexpected that momentum shift was. Seemed like Tech was dead in the water.
Oh and poor #45, that juke move would have been the best of the game if not for Braxton.
Luckily Ohio State has a little bit of talent.
And you know why you came here:
Cannot, stop, watching.
How about this dude trying to crack jokes to his girl right after? Guy…now is not the time.
Cardale imitating it on the sideline is a reason why Cardale is the best.
It’s never funny when a guy gets injured and I feel awful for Brewer who is out for at least 5 weeks…but this clip was…ironic?
New guy tried his hardest but just didn’t have the talent, even with God’s Gift himself out there with him.
V Tech has one QB who can throw the ball…Ohio State was rotating between 2 Heisman candidates and had an extra one so they stuck him at HBack and let him score 2 touchdowns. It ain’t fair.
And we all know what Cardale can do. Vintage right here. Good luck tackling that.
“Am I alive??”
It wasn’t a flashy spin move that will be all over SportsCenter for the next 3 months, but this stop and go was one of my favorite plays of the game. So simple, so subtle yet so deadly. Just an absolutely savage destruction of the ankles of one of the best corners in the game.
That would be all she wrote.
When a fan has a bobblehead of himself, you really stand no chance out there.
Did this guy get in the game yet?
